Stamp Collecting - pottery style
Like most potters, I have an ongoing collection of odd items for stamping wet clay. An old sprinkler head, gears from a broken thermastat and various rubber stamps from the local craft store to name a few. I would love to hear about stamps others use and interesting places to look for them.

I am continually looking for interesting textures in EVERYTHING I see. I have purchased many different items. I found a bunch of old costume jewelry at yard sales. I even found an interesting emblem on a bolo tie. One of my favorite items is a set of rubber stamps with a celtic style alphabet on them. I have purchased old printing press letters and numbers in different sizes. Recently I have been looking for costume jewelry brooches. I have used an old napkin ring, ear rings, screws, even small plastic toys. If anyone has any other ideas I would love to hear about them!
