August 29th, Week 9

1 hour to 1000 degrees, second hour to 1550 then hold 30 minutes.  Due to overfire in Week 8, we fire 100 degree low, just to make sure we did not overfire.

Kevin Frazier:

#1 Terra Sig'd then bisqued

#2 Bisque fired then coated with red terra sig (Note the was the Terra Sig is breaking off because of the post bisque application.)

Both pieces fired in the same saggar with steel wool, 5 magnesium supplement pills, sawdust and topped with salt soaked aspen wool.  Leaves were attached to the work with spray glue.
