August 15 fire (Week 7)

1 hour to 900 degrees, additional hour to 1350 degrees, additional 50 minutes to 1650 then hold by reduction stall for 30 minutes.

Kevin Frazier: Extruded stoney white bisqued to 04.

#4 Red Terra Sig. #6 White terra sig. Both pieces had trumpeter leaves glued on, sprayed with acoustic ceiling spray, the sprayglue and comet cleanser sprinkled on it. Saggar filed with salt soaked pearlite and some copper sulphate.

Juanita Marshal: Ash wood shavings, banana peals pinecones and touch of copper wrapped in a fabric mummy bag.

Chuck Parsons: Packed tightly with saw dust, 10 pieces of rock salt, 10 strands of course steel wool and ½ tablespoon copper sulphate sprinkled on top of the sawdust. Note: no color produced. All b/w.

Tara:  Washed with Salt Water then copper carb, red iron ox, rock salt, copper scrub pad, hay/straw, banana peal, newspapper.
